As a member of AC Blog Roll, we all agreed to subscribe to every blog listed using the subscribe button on the listings or using the feedburner feeds.
Has your subscribership increased only to decrease later? To keep a readership you have to have new stuff regularly. If you haven't posted in more than say a week, the feedburner subscriber counter cannot register anyone as having accessed the feed since it isn't presenting any new articles because you haven't put anything new on the blog.
So, put a new article in there once a week at the least.
Now, don't forget to use your feedburner.com feed as a link on your blog page so that when people want to subscribe they use feedburner too and that way if you get non AC subscribers you will at least see their count show up as well.
Also, consider using the email subscription form from feedburner so that you can tell who is subscribed to that portion. There is no way you can or should limit all subscriptions to email.
Remember to subscribe to all of the blogs on this feed as they come in and encourage your AC friends and group to blog too and join the AC Blog Roll. That way we can increase our blogs' popularity and get more non-AC subscribers or viewers at least.
I continue to have subscribers from my blog. I hope that encourages you.

Hi, if we are a member of AC Blog Roll and have subscribed to everyone's blog and they in turn have subscribed to our blog(s), does this mean each of us should have 20 readers/subscribers if AC Blog has 20? I don't and I was wondering if everyone else was showing the right amount of readers/subscribers. I just rechecked my feedburner and it is working.
My blogs are:
http://www.christian-millionaire-mentoring.blogspot.com/
http://www.if-i-had-a-bed-n-breakfast.blogspot.com/
http://www.cookiecocker.blogspot.com/
Thanks!
Claudia
I agree. That is why I posted this to those on the list.
If everyone is subscribed to every blog on this blog using the subscribe button and all of us are using feedburner to track that, then we should all have 20 readers.
But, since I cannot tell who those 20 readers are and that may or may not include those subscribed using feedburner's email form on this blow, I cannot know for certain.
It doen't hurt to subscribe to these blogs using more than one meathod like google personlized home page and my yahoo and google reader and the email. That also makes it easier for you to get to the posts a number of different ways.
Everyone who is participating should be subscribed to your blogs listed.
